PROJECT OVERVIEW

Makeda came to me before she even had a name for her new website — a directory for entrepreneurs to find their perfect conference. I suggested the name, “Conference Connection,” since she’s connecting business owners to conferences, conference hosts to attendees, and is a resource for sparking new connections in your business.

The paisley key of the logo represents the “unlocking” of connections, new ideas, and business potential while doubling as the room key for a boutique hotel. The design style shows the authority and sophistication of her site to the conference hosts, while attracting conference attendees with the welcoming and upbeat look & feel.

Over time the brand evolved to include retreats, online summits, workshops and other events, so Makeda renamed her business to Events Unlocked so she could keep the key as the central icon of the brand.
